Volunteers make a significant difference in the lives of others. The WA-ID Volunteer Center is the primary volunteer connector in our 5-county service area. We promote volunteerism as a whole and connect people of any age with opportunities to serve within our partner nonprofit agencies.

Senior Companion Program

Senior Companions are 55+ years of age and provide assistance and friendship to older adults in their homes. Service may include help with light-duty tasks, transportation to medical appointments or shopping, and companionship to help combat loneliness.

Urgent Volunteer Needs

Do You Feel Comfortable With Computers?

The AARP TaxAid Program needs volunteers to help prepare FREE basic tax returns for seniors and low-income individuals. No experience is necessary. Training and materials provided. Call Jeanette at (208) 746-7787 for more information.

Become a Blood Donor Ambassador

The American Red Cross is seeking customer service volunteers to help at blood drives in Lewiston and Clarkston.

Do You Love To Meet People From Your Community?

Volunteers help check in the donors and make sure they are not having any adverse effects after donation.
